The Journey

It was in the year 2013, almost three years back that I had begun my journey with Mahindra. When I look back to my NIT days, being a part of an automotive hulk is all I dreamt of. And, with these three years of larger-than-life experiences, I think I am living it to the fullest!

I was fortunate enough to be a part of Mahindra at MRV in Validation – AD function. We validate the designed products so that it is well-served to the customer without any flaws. I am passionate about the role I perform here. I love testing vehicles and hence I never felt that I am in a formal work environment but living my passion each day and that encourages me to be the best!

Growing with Mahindra

The first thing that comes to my mind while working with Mahindra is ‘Learning.’ The entire vehicle portfolio right from two-wheelers to trucks renders a remarkable exposure to any employee working here. It is a never-ending exposure for me while learning through different vehicle segments.

When I say learning, it is Mahindra itself that aids us with various sources. To begin with, Mahindra AQ feeds that hit our mailbox every morning gets me upbeat about my job. I would admit without an iota of doubt that the articles offer a great value to my knowledge arsenal. My colleagues and I are inclined to read them instantly! Secondly, Mahindra helps us with various e-Learning modules. They contribute in molding us to synergize with the competitive world, making us independent. Furthermore, it helps us in building up on our basics to chart the future ahead.

Recognition culture

With all learning platforms on board, Mahindra also recognizes each team member for their extraordinary performance. The reward and recognition initiative lauds individuals for their efforts during the entire phase of product development. I have won two spot awards for the development of transmission of Supro Maxi Trucks. According to me, this effort by Mahindra motivates every team member to consider themselves as the owner of the product and strive to get the best out of it.

If someone asks me about my all-time favorite Mahindra four-wheeler, without any second thought it has to be Mahindra XUV5OO! The reason behind this is its value for money, overall style, aesthetics, and power.

Mahindra not only ranks in the chart of automotive success but also, it delivers the best support to its employees. It was during my mother’s illness Mahindra’s parental medical scheme benefitted me both financially and emotionally.

Mahindra has helped me in developing unbreakable trust with my team members. Regardless of the obstacles, I would always be backed by a strong support!
