The Car of The Future is Getting Bigger!

Electric cars Mahindra e2o plus

Imagine a world without the worry of rising fuel prices; where one would not worry about adding to the ever-increasing pollution. Electric cars have made this a reality. As the world’s ambition to tackle climate change grows, there is a surge of electric cars available in the market. The multinational auto manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra, is riding the wave with its latest offering – the e2o Plus.

The common perception about electric cars is that they are not practical. The new e2o plus is created to change just that. With four doors and increased seating, the e2o Plus is poised for new horizons in the electric-vehicle space. It is designed to be 310mm longer, 61mm wider, and 25mm taller as compared to the other e2o variants. This provides surprisingly wider legroom in the cabin with the wheelbase being longer by 300mm.

If electric cars are the future, Mahindra’s e2o Plus makes it a stylish drive. Apart from the increased size, the e2o Plus also has an improved exterior. The all-new grille with vertical slants keeps the signature Mahindra style intact in the e2o. We can also see the standard headlight projectors common with the previous two-door variants. The roof-mounted spoilers at the back have been vertically aligned with the LED lights increases the car’s visual appeal.  The e2o Plus also gets a new Blaupunkt infotainment system.

Gone are the days when electric cars generated range anxiety. Mahindra’s e2o Plus serves the purpose. The latest e2o Plus comes with a 72V battery back which contributes to the 140km range of the car. The car churns out 41hp at 3,500 rpm. Mahindra offers an efficient fast-charger which comes with a bigger price tag. It charges 90 percent of the battery in 90 minutes.

All the changes in the Mahindra e2o Plus are focused to create mass-appeal as compared to the other e2o variants. The car is priced at a range of 5.46 lakh to 8.46 lakh which makes it one of the cheapest electric vehicles available in the market. If we are ready to make an electric switch, Mahindra’s e2o Plus is the hands-on solution that we need.

Are you ready for the car of the future?
