Mahindra unravels the much awaited Blazo range in East India!
The Mahindra Truck and Bus Division (MTBD) recently held a regional launch of their much awaited heavy duty truck – the Mahindra Blazo. With the launch of this new truck, Mahindra aims to establish twice as much as their current market share (4.5%). The objective is to have a monster share in the next two years in East India.
At the launch of Blazo, Nalin Mehta – CEO of Mahindra MTBD maintained that even though Mahindra has been in the heavy commercial vehicle segment only since the past three years, it has made rapid progress and has been growing steadily. The introduction of the new range Blazo in the market will solidify Mahindra’s existing presence in the commercial vehicle market.
The MTBD division has shown considerable growth and the company seems to be increasingly profiting from the division in the HCV segment. With a price range from INR 21 to 30 lakh, the Blazo series has a lot to offer. The package is inclusive of a haulage, tractor trailer and tipper ranging from a 25 ton to a 49 ton.
The Blazo is popular for its Fuel Smart Technology which promises maximum mileage. It allows the driver to shift among modes depending on the load capacities, thereby ensuring utmost efficiency from the mPOWER FuelSmart engine.
As in most Mahindra SUVs, the Blazo too has been equipped with DIS (Driver Information System) which provides with significant vehicle information like the engine RPM, temperature, speed, fuel levels, tyre pressure, trip kilometer, diesel consumption per kilometer, battery voltage and service reminders.
Keeping brand loyalty and customers as their priority, Mahindra has a unique selling proposition for Blazo buyers. The company maintains that if the Blazo gives a lower fuel efficiency than their current truck, they can return the Blazo and get a guaranteed refund.
To build and create brand trust, Mahindra has assured an uptime of 48 hours on their service of the vehicle. In the event that they fail to do so, a compensation of 1000 INR per day will be paid to the customer!
